Volcanic Rock is a crafting material and is essential for completing quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Storybook Vale expansion. To get it, however, you’ll need to unlock one of the other Biomes after The Bind.
How to Find Volcanic Rock in Dreamlight Valley
Volcanic Rock can be found in the following places:
- The Elysian Fields
- The Fiery Plains
- The Statue’s Shadow
- Mount Olympus
- The Wild Woods
- Teapot Falls
- The Fallen Fortress
- The Beanstalk Marshes
However, we’d recommend aiming to unlock Everafter first, to follow Merida’s suggestion if you’re just getting started in the DLC. The first area you’ll enter is The Wild Woods.
You can find this on the west side of the Library of Lore. To unlock it, you’ll need 2,000 Storybook Magic, so be sure to explore The Bind thoroughly and complete your Storybook Duties.

Once you’ve unlocked The Wild Woods (or The Elysian Fields if you’ve chosen Mount Olympus), all you need to do to obtain Volcanic Rock is dig!
